Accordingly, the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control will periodically or suddenly collect samples and test functional food products and micronutrient-fortified foods that the Long Chau pharmacy system is or will be selling to assess product quality when it is put on the market. The Institute will send a specialized department to collect samples at the pharmacy or from the supplier to test the products and assess the product batch according to regulations.
The Institute takes on the role of “quality assurance expert” for the Long Chau pharmacy system, a team of experts directly involved in the product testing process right from the input stage for retail units.
Both units will coordinate to implement digital transformation in healthcare , helping to optimize management and information storage as well as improve and enhance service quality and user experience.
Through this cooperation, Long Chau will conduct “double checks”: checking documents according to legal regulations and regularly and continuously inspecting the actual quality of products before the products reach consumers. This is a consistent step demonstrating Long Chau’s commitment to making the supply chain transparent, raising quality standards and putting consumer health at the center.
Cooperating with the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control is the next step in the "Transparent Origin for a Healthy Vietnam" Campaign that Long Chau is implementing, while responding to the Ministry of Health 's directive on publicizing and transparent information on medicines and health foods.

In the current system of food safety testing agencies nationwide, the National Institute for Food Safety Testing is the highest level food testing unit of the health sector. The Institute also plays the role of “national referee” in the field of food safety and hygiene quality testing.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Cao Son, Deputy Director of the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control, affirmed that through the signing of the cooperation agreement, the two units affirmed their common commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of functional food products and foods fortified with micronutrients.
The cooperation is not only limited to sampling, periodic testing or certification activities, batch inspection and quality management system assessment according to standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP... but also includes research, training and digital transformation activities. These activities help both parties move towards creating a reliable database system, helping to retrieve information, ensuring transparency in product quality control.

Chairman and General Director of Long Chau Pharmacy System Nguyen Bach Diep believes that cooperation with the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Control is necessary and must be done. In the coming time, Long Chau will continue to improve transparency, from product origin, legal documents, to publicizing information on invoices as well as the system's online platforms. People can easily look up, check and give feedback at any time.
