Implementing Plan No. 945/KH-BCĐ dated April 3, 2025 of the Interdisciplinary Steering Committee for Food Safety and Hygiene (VSATTP) of Cao Bang province on Deploying the "Month of action for food safety" in 2025 in Cao Bang province, the Department of Industry and Trade issued Plan No. 713/KH-SCT dated April 4, 2025 on Deploying the "Month of action for food safety" in 2025, from April 15, 2025 to May 15, 2025 with the theme: "Ensuring food safety, focusing on food safety in collective kitchens, catering services, street food" , Decision No. 37/QD-SCT dated April 14, 2025 on establishing an interdisciplinary food safety inspection team for the "Month of action for food safety" in 2025, Interdisciplinary inspection team The provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Department, led by Mr. Do Ngoc Linh, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, inspected food safety work during the Food Safety Action Month 2025 in Hoa An, Thach An, Ha Quang districts and Cao Bang city.
The interdisciplinary inspection team worked with the district's interdisciplinary food safety steering committee.
Working with the Food Safety and Hygiene Steering Committees of districts/cities shows that the districts/cities have seriously implemented the contents of Plan No. 945/KH-BCĐ such as: Strengthening the District Food Safety and Hygiene Steering Committee; Issuing a plan to implement the "Month of action for food safety"; establishing an interdisciplinary inspection team at the district and commune levels to inspect food safety conditions of food production and trading establishments, catering services, and collective kitchens; Propagating and disseminating legal documents on food safety and hygiene in various forms such as: Broadcasting, hanging banners, slogans, direct propaganda during inspections at establishments, etc.
The provincial and district food safety inspection team coordinates to disseminate and propagate relevant regulations so that establishments can better implement food safety work in accordance with regulations to minimize food poisoning incidents .
In addition, the provincial Food Safety and Hygiene Inspection Team requested the Food Safety and Hygiene Steering Committees of the districts to continue implementing Plan No. 945/KH-BCĐ; Strengthen in-depth communication, propaganda, and dissemination of food safety regulations in the area; Continue to proactively take preventive measures related to food safety; Strengthen inspection, expand the scope of inspection, prioritize high-risk areas ( such as schools, markets, large restaurants, etc.) , strictly handle individuals, households, organizations producing, processing, trading food, and providing food services that violate food safety and hygiene regulations in the management area; Review, research, and build pilot models on food safety; Further promote the role of the Food Safety and Hygiene Steering Committees at all levels;...
