Implementing the Decree on the delimitation of authority of local authorities at two levels in the field of state management of the Government Inspectorate

On June 12, 2025, the Government signed and issued Decree No. 141/2025/ND-CP regulating the division of authority of local authorities at two levels in the field of state management of the Government Inspectorate.

The Decree stipulates the clear division of tasks and powers between provincial and commune-level authorities in the fields of inspection, citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement, and corruption prevention.

Highlights of Decree No. 141/2025/ND-CP: Clearly defining tasks for commune-level and provincial-level authorities in receiving citizens and resolving complaints and denunciations, preventing the situation of "the superiors pushing and the subordinates avoiding"; ensuring a smooth transition when the two-level government model is widely applied nationwide from July 1, 2025; enhancing the operational efficiency of the state apparatus, improving the quality of service to the people.

Serious implementation of Decree 141 will help strengthen people's trust in the government, while contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, in line with the goal of administrative reform and building a modern, professional, public and transparent administration./ .
