Implementing startup support activities in Ca Mau province in 2025

On March 11, 2025, the Steering Committee for Startup Support of Ca Mau province issued the Plan for Startup Support of Ca Mau province in 2025 to implement the tasks of the Startup Support Projects issued by the Central Government to ensure efficiency, economy and suitability to the practical situation; promote the formation of basic components of the startup ecosystem in Ca Mau province; gradually form and develop a new force of businesses with vision and innovative thinking, contributing to the economic and social development of the province in line with the current development trend. Specific tasks are as follows:

Carry out 03 propaganda and commendation activities on the results of the province's start-up activities on models, ideas, and start-up projects; at the same time, commend typical young people and young businesses that have successfully started up in order to promptly commend, support the spirit, and contribute to the propaganda and promotion of local products. Activity 1 includes: Carry out special topics ( reportages, articles, videos ) on good farming households at the central and provincial levels to build outstanding start-up models for propaganda among farmer members ; Activity 2 includes: Organize a program to commend typical young people and owners of young businesses that have successfully started up; Activity 3 includes: Build a video clip of an overview of start-ups in Ca Mau province to serve the propaganda and promotion of start-up activities in the province .

Organize 05 training courses and workshops to foster knowledge on start-ups, innovative start-ups for the team working on guiding and supporting start-ups; organizations and individuals with ideas and start-up projects and staff and teachers doing career counseling, employment and start-up support in general education institutions . Training courses and workshops include: Training and fostering staff and teachers doing career counseling, employment and start-up support in high schools; Organize training courses to improve capacity for staff, civil servants, public employees and workers... supporting start-ups in the province; organizations and individuals with ideas and start-up projects on knowledge and skills about start-ups or other related skills (02 courses) ; Organize training for farmer association members on knowledge of start-ups and innovation in the transition period (02 courses) .

Support the maintenance of organizations supporting startups, connecting and developing the startup ecosystem such as: Supporting funding to maintain regular activities of the Co-working Area, co-working space to support small and medium-sized enterprises to start up creatively (12 months) ; Maintaining the Provincial Startup Club (04 topics) ; Organizing seminars, topics, talkshows on startups (02 topics) ; Supporting individuals and startups to participate in startup events at home and abroad ; Organizing the Youth Startup Festival for Innovation and Digital Transformation in 2025 ; Organizing the Startup Consulting Festival for union members, youth and the program Connecting Youth Startup Products, OCOP Products in 2025 ; Organizing   Startup Marketplace combined with Startup Talk Conference.

Organize CamaUp'25 Startup Festival with events such as: startup forum , Startup competition , Product and service display and promotion contest , startup connection; startup investment; startup exhibition;... to inspire the startup spirit in the community, among young people in the Mekong Delta region.

Support typical and potential start-up projects (such as designing brand identity ; building and applying quality management systems; protecting domestic intellectual property rights;...), contributing to helping projects complete and improve product quality.

To ensure effective implementation, the Steering Committee for Startup Support of Ca Mau province assigned the Department of Science and Technology - Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for Startup Support of the province to direct the Expert Team to assist in monitoring the content and progress of the implementation of tasks in the Plan ; at the same time, requesting the provincial departments, branches, sectors, mass organizations, People's Committees of districts and cities of Ca Mau to organize the implementation of the contents of this Plan in accordance with the situation and conditions of the locality and unit./.
