
This is an activity within the framework of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival taking place in Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Ms. Le Thi Ha, Director of the Vietnam Film Institute, said that the exhibition space introduces more than 250 photos, which are slices and multi-dimensional perspectives of cinema and photography artists on Saigon-Ho Chi Minh City, from the historical years of the two resistance wars against invasion, liberating the South, and unifying the country (1945-1975) to the period of innovation, integration and development today.

“The new feature of the exhibition is the application of modern technology to build a mixed reality space (Mixed Reality-MR) and arrange a 3600 photo booth area to enhance many emotional experiences as well as interesting interactions for visitors,” Ms. Le Thi Ha emphasized.
According to the Organizing Committee, the works at the exhibition are printed from documents and cinematographic works archived at the Vietnam Film Institute; documents and cinematographic works collected from the Department of Culture and Sports , Department of Tourism, Radio and Television, Ho Chi Minh City Cinema Association about filming locations, people, life, the process of innovation, integration and development of Saigon-Ho Chi Minh City.
The exhibition's content includes 3 parts: The period of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (1945-1975); The period of national construction and development (1976-1985); The period of innovation, integration and development (1986-2025).

The organizers hope that, with concise content and vivid display, the exhibition will attract and strongly spread to the masses, domestic and foreign tourists the indomitable beauty of the national spirit, the Vietnamese people in the cause of protecting and building the Fatherland along with the beauty of life, the people of Ho Chi Minh City, civilized, modern, affectionate, striving with the country.
Through that, the exhibition will contribute more effectively to the propaganda, promotion, and continuation of the historical and cultural values of Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular; at the same time, it will become one of the notable highlights of the 24th Vietnam Film Festival, as well as add a congratulation to the event: Ho Chi Minh City was officially honored by UNESCO as the first creative city in the field of cinema in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
The exhibition runs until November 25.
