Interactive exhibition at Nhan Dan Newspaper - Ideal destination for young people on weekends

NDO - In the heroic atmosphere of the historic April days, the "Interactive Exhibition to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification" at the headquarters of Nhan Dan Newspaper (71 Hang Trong, Hanoi) has become an attractive destination for young people. On weekends, instead of "sleeping in", thousands of young people woke up early and lined up neatly to experience the unique press products of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

On the morning of April 27, two sisters Linh Chi and An Nhien (wearing red flag shirts with yellow stars) lined up waiting for their turn to experience the press products of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

From early morning, Linh Chi and An Nhien were taken by their mother to the Hoan Kiem Lake area to visit the interactive exhibition and receive the supplement of Nhan Dan Newspaper. Wearing shirts printed with bright red flags and yellow stars, the two sisters lined up neatly, patiently waiting for their turn to receive the special supplement.

Entering the exhibition space, Linh Chi shared: "I saw many children also visiting the exhibition, I was so happy! What I liked most was taking check-in photos with the tank and the Independence Palace. I will bring these photos back to show my classmates and tell them about the April 30 Victory."

Like Linh Chi and An Nhien, even though today is the weekend, Minh Nhat and Nhat Anh still wake up early to be taken by their parents to Hoan Kiem Lake to play and visit the exhibition of Nhan Dan Newspaper. For Minh Nhat, the exhibition space at the headquarters of Nhan Dan Newspaper has become very familiar, because he has almost never missed any exhibition held here.

Ms. Thuy Dung - Minh Nhat's mother, shared: "The children have been excited since last night. This morning, the two of them woke up to go out with their family. Coming to the exhibition, we consider this a way toeducate the children to love their homeland and country more."

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Nhan Dan Newspaper organized an exhibition integrating 3 main technologies including: Light projection (3D mapping), augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR).

In the heroic atmosphere of the historic April days, Hai and his friends spent the entire weekend morning on meaningful activities. Hai's group woke up at 4am to watch the flag-raising ceremony at Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, then went to Nhan Dan Newspaper to experience the exhibition.

Hai said that the special programs celebrating the April 30 Victory of Nhan Dan Newspaper are spreading strongly on media platforms and receiving positive responses from young people. The printed publications of Nhan Dan Newspaper are beautifully designed, youthful and lively, harmoniously combining traditional and modern journalism styles. At the exhibition space, Hai and his friends also experienced projection technology with vivid sound and images, making them surprised and excited.

"Every corner of the exhibition brings me new experiences. Like many other young people, I clearly feel national pride rising in my heart," Hai excitedly shared.

Minh Trang - a student studying in Hung Yen , traveled dozens of kilometers to come to the exhibition of Nhan Dan Newspaper.

"I arrived in Hanoi very early, around 6:30 a.m. Through TikTok channels, I also knew that to visit and receive newspapers, I had to wait in a long line, so I took the initiative to go early. When I arrived, people had already lined up beyond the Bao Khanh-Le Thai To section. However, the lines were orderly, there was no jostling at all."

As a young person of the Gen Z generation, Trang is very interested in national history. Trang confided: “I was born and raised in peacetime, but since I was little, my father always taught me to remember the merits of my ancestors who lived, fought and regained independence and freedom for the nation. My grandfather passed away when I was very young, so I did not hear him talk about the years he fought against invaders.

But through my father's story, I learned that he was also one of Uncle Ho's brave soldiers. A part of his body was also left on the battlefield. Now, looking at the medals that my father carefully stamped and hung solemnly at home, I am always proud and remind myself to try harder to be worthy of what his generation had paid for with blood and bones."

Therefore, when coming to the exhibition, Minh Trang felt extremely moved. She not only learned more about the great victory of the nation but also felt deep pride from the images and stories told through each page of the newspaper.
