Green energy on La Nga raft village

Amidst the vast waters of La Nga raft village (La Nga commune, Dong Nai province), besides stories about fishermen’s lives and experiences in raising fish in rafts, a new story is being talked about a lot. That is the story of the sparkling solar panels on the roofs of many fish rafts, lighting up life and opening up a green future for the people here.

La Nga raft village, which is familiar with the image of old roofs and a hard life, is now gradually "changing its skin". Many households have proactively used green energy from solar panels to improve their quality of life. A long-time fish raft owner in La Nga raft village shared: "In the past, the power grid was far away, running a generator was expensive and noisy. Seeing some people using solar panels effectively, I boldly invested. Now there is stable electricity 24/7, no need to worry about power shortages and save money on fuel."

Solar panels not only provide clean electricity, helping to reduce living costs, but also create conditions for people to improve their living space. Many rafts are no longer simply places to live, but have been "dressed up" with flower trellises and green ornamental plants, showing that the lives of households in the raft villages are increasingly prosperous.
