On December 18, the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (PA05) of Lam Dong Provincial Police, announced that it had coordinated with Duc Trong District Police to dismantle a large-scale firecracker trading and storage ring in the local cyberspace.
More than half a ton of firecrackers were discovered by the police.
Previously, through monitoring, Department PA05 discovered a group of subjects in Duc Trong District trading in firecrackers on cyberspace. This group was very reckless, organized and especially sophisticated, always changing their methods of communication and transactions to avoid being monitored by authorities.
Faced with the above situation, Colonel Truong Minh Duong, Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police, directly directed Department PA05 to coordinate with Duc Trong District Police to establish a special project, resolutely fight and eradicate, not allowing the complicated trading of fireworks in the area, especially during the time when Lunar New Year is approaching.

On December 16, the Special Task Force ambushed and caught Le Huy Tuyen (31 years old, Lien Hiep commune, Duc Trong district) red-handed conducting a transaction with Le Minh Truc (34 years old, Lien Nghia town, Duc Trong district) at a house on Bach Dang street (group 13, Lien Nghia town).
At the scene, police discovered and seized many types of fireworks including string fireworks, ball fireworks, firecrackers, long tube fireworks, and explosive fireworks of 36, 49, and 100 rounds with a total seized weight of more than 623 kg.

Le Minh Truc confessed to buying all of the above 623 kg of various types of fireworks through the social network Facebook with the aim of selling them for profit.
Currently, this case of buying and selling fireworks is being further investigated, clarified and handled by the authorities according to regulations.
