Audi A7 is priced from 4 billion VND in the Vietnamese market.
For Audi, during the research process, the company discovered that on some Audi A6, A7 vehicles manufactured during a specific period, the information control box port may be damaged due to moisture penetrating under the rear seat, affecting various functions of the vehicle. According to Audi Vietnam, the limited function may be that the engine runs at lower performance than usual, the transmission may activate safety mode, the steering system may be heavier...
In addition to the two sedans, Audi has also discovered that some Q7 and Q8 SUVs may have a part of the fuel pump that breaks while the vehicle is moving due to pressure fluctuations in low system pressure conditions. This piece of debris can damage the seal in the pressure regulator, causing the engine to suddenly stop, the vehicle to jerk, lose throttle, and become unsafe. The first sign of this is the emission control system warning light on the dashboard.
To fix the error, Audi Vietnam will recall all affected vehicles, including Q7 and Q8 vehicles manufactured from January 1, 2020 to January 29, 2021; and A6 and A7 vehicles manufactured from 2019 to 2022.
The recall programs for A6, A7, Q7, Q8 all take place from now until March 31, 2026. Car owners can directly check whether their car is subject to recall or not on the website www.audi.vn by entering the vehicle's chassis number.
For vehicles that are not officially distributed, vehicles imported in the form of moving assets or diplomatic vehicles... but are subject to recall according to the announcement of Audi Global (Audi AG), the recall responsibility belongs to the respective import facilities. However, Audi Vietnam said that it will support customers to contact Audi Global and perform inspection and reinforcement when approved.
Mercedes-Benz also carried out two recalls at the same time on this occasion. The first recall involved 608 vehicles, with the models GLE 53 4MATIC, GLE 450 4MATIC, GLS 450 4MATIC and Maybach GLS 480 4MATIC (produced from February 2022 to January 2023 in Germany).
These models will have the triangular window trim bars on the rear doors replaced to prevent them from falling off while driving, affecting the safety of other road users.
The Mercedes-Benz GLS is a luxury SUV with many versions, from "cheap" like the 450 to the Maybach 680.
The second recall concerns the GLE 450 4MATIC and Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC (manufactured from July 2019 to November 2020). These vehicles are recalled due to the condensation drain pipe of the air conditioning system.
Due to incorrect installation, water may leak inside the vehicle and cause malfunctions in various electrical components. Therefore, this does not eliminate the risk of short circuits, failure to open the door or start the vehicle, or even allowing the vehicle to operate only in emergency mode, increasing the risk of an accident.
These two recalls will be implemented by Mercedes-Benz Vietnam's dealer system from now until the end of 2027.
