Recalling more than 14,200 Honda vehicles in Vietnam to fix errors

The Honda CR-V, Jazz, Civic, CR-V, City and Accord models manufactured between September 2017 and January 2019 are affected by this recall. According to Honda Vietnam , the recalled models may experience deformation of the fuel pump blades during operation, causing the fuel pump to not work and leading to engine failure while driving.

The recall program will begin on May 8, 2024. All affected vehicle owners will be notified in detail via letter, email or phone. Replacement will be carried out when spare parts are available. The cost of inspection and replacement of affected spare parts will be borne by Honda Vietnam.
