There have been 500 black star trees, 1,500 Lagerstroemia trees and 300 Sao Dau trees planted along the Thoi Lai town bypass - Can Tho city and Ben Nhut route, Long Thanh commune, Giong Rieng district, Kien Giang province.
Responding to World Environment Day (June 6), as well as raising public awareness in protecting and preserving a green - clean - beautiful living environment, Syngenta Vietnam Company coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Can Tho City, the Department of Cultivation - Plant Protection of Kien Giang Province to plant trees and launch the program "Clean Environment - Green Life" - collecting used pesticide packaging in Can Tho City and Kien Giang.

There have been 500 black star trees, 1,500 Lagerstroemia trees and 300 Sao Dau trees planted along the bypass of Thoi Lai town - Can Tho city and Ben Nhut route, Long Thanh commune, Giong Rieng district, Kien Giang province. Along with that, about 11 tons of waste, packaging, and used pesticide packaging were collected by people to the collection point for treatment.
These activities contribute to spreading green lifestyle, raising awareness of environmental protection, and building new rural areas. Farmers participate in training sessions, instructions on the correct, safe and responsible use of pesticides, and the collection of used pesticide packaging.
Through training sessions, Syngenta contributes to changing awareness, helping farmers use pesticides in compliance with the "4 rights" principle, effectively manage pests, while still ensuring the health of themselves, their families and the community, protecting the environment; products meet food safety and hygiene standards for export.

Since 2015, the program “Clean Environment – Green Life” has been introduced by Syngenta Vietnam with a commitment to enhance training and raise farmers’ awareness of environmental protection and the safe, effective and responsible use of plant protection products.
To date, Syngenta has organized training on the safe and effective use of pesticides for more than 30,000 farmers, and more than 100 tons of pesticide packaging have been collected and destroyed. The program has been launched in 15 provinces and cities nationwide.
