On the morning of June 4, Regiment 885 under the Provincial Military Command held an oath-taking ceremony for new soldiers in 2024. Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huu Thang - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, along with many families and relatives of the new soldiers attended the ceremony.
In 2024, Regiment 885 organized the training of more than 300 new soldiers from 18 districts, towns and cities in the province and 02 districts in Da Nang city. Adhering to the training motto of "basic, practical, solid" and applying well "3 perspectives, 8 principles, 6 combinations", Regiment 885 organized training with correct and sufficient content and time according to the new soldier training program, the number of soldiers participating in the training reached over 99.8%. Soldiers overcame difficulties, made efforts to study, practice, and completed the subjects well.
The test results for all subjects were 100% satisfactory, of which 78.5% were good and excellent. The test for 3 explosive subjects included: AK submachine gun shooting lesson 1 was good, explosives and grenade throwing were excellent.
Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet praised and highly appreciated the training of new soldiers of Regiment 885, and congratulated the soldiers who had completed the new soldier training program and truly become excellent soldiers in the heroic Vietnam People's Army.
The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that in the coming time, each soldier will continue to promote the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", strive to study, practice, and cultivate revolutionary ethics, promote the dynamism and creativity of youth, and devote themselves to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
After the moment of swearing in under the Victory Flag and receiving weapons, more than 300 new soldiers have truly matured in all aspects, worthy of the noble title "Uncle Ho's Soldiers".
