Located on Da Chong Mountain, Trung Son Co Tu is one of the prominent spiritual destinations in Ninh Thuan , attracting tourists by its unique position with its back against the mountain and facing Ninh Chu sea. The pagoda not only offers a peaceful space but also opens up an impressive panoramic view, covering both the sea and the city.

Unique architecture blends with nature

Built in 1973 by Venerable Thich Buu Hien, Trung Son Co Tu was originally just a small hermitage. Over time, the pagoda was expanded and built in the Northern architectural style, blending tradition and modernity. A special highlight is the nearly 500 steps paved with green stone quarried from Da Chong mountain, creating a rustic path in harmony with the natural landscape.

The high position of the pagoda offers a valuable view. From here, visitors can look far away, admiring the panoramic view of the winding Ninh Chu beach, Binh Son sea, Ninh Chu bridge and Dam Vua. The majestic natural scenery with mountains, fields and sea blending together to create a charming landscape painting, bringing a feeling of relaxation and peace.

Experience visiting Trung Son Ancient Temple

Travel and ideal timing

Trung Son Ancient Pagoda is located in Ninh Chu Ward, Ninh Thuan Province, about 6.2 km from Phan Rang Thap Cham City. Visitors can easily travel by motorbike or taxi. The ideal time to visit is from April to July, when the weather is dry, sunny and the air is fresh, favorable for sightseeing and sightseeing.

Important notes

To make the tour complete and show respect for the spiritual space, visitors should note the following points:

  • Dress: Choose polite, discreet clothing when entering the temple.
  • Keep quiet: Limit loud talking and laughing to maintain peace.
  • Footwear: Wear sneakers or flat sandals for easy climbing of nearly 500 steps. Remove shoes before entering the Main Hall area.
  • Safety: The road up to the temple is quite steep, so be careful if traveling by motorbike.
  • Protect the landscape: Do not litter and do not touch Buddha statues or objects of worship.
  • Photography: You may take souvenir photos in the grounds but avoid offensive poses and do not take photos inside the Main Hall without permission.

The temple is open to the public, with no entrance fee, welcoming visitors and Buddhists to visit and worship.
