Truong Sa Island Logistics and Technical Service Center fixes problems for fishing boats in Gia Lai province

On July 3, the Truong Sa Island Logistics and Technical Service Center, Navy Squadron 129 successfully supported the repair of fishing boats of fishermen in Gia Lai province.

The center's staff disassembled the equipment and brought it back to the workshop for repair.

Previously, fishing boat BD 96899 TS, captained by Nguyen Truc, with 5 workers working as purse seine fishermen, departed on June 14. At around 7:00 a.m. on July 2, while fishing in the northeastern waters of Truong Sa Island, the boat's steering system broke down. The fishing boat contacted the center for assistance and was guided to the dock.

The center sent technical staff to the fishing boat to check the problem and bring the equipment back to the workshop for repair. By 8:00 a.m. on July 3, the center had successfully repaired and fixed the fishing boat, installed, tested and tested it for normal operation.

Propaganda, giving national flags and life jackets to fishermen.

During the repair period, the center's staff combined propaganda of Prime Minister 's Directive 45; introduced the activities of the ports and fishing villages in Truong Sa special zone. At the same time, they presented the national flag, personal life jackets, 1,000 liters of fresh water and some necessities and medicine to fishermen on the fishing boat. At 10:00 a.m. the same day, the fishing boat and fishermen continued to go out to sea to exploit seafood.
