This year’s festival brought together 21 participating units, including 20 northern provinces and one representative from the central region. Nearly 1,000 children brought a bustling, joyful atmosphere through special drum and trumpet performances, creating a vibrant and colorful music festival of childhood.
Participating in the festival, all groups performed well and achieved excellent results. Among them, the children's group of the Lao Cai Provincial Youth Activity Center left an impression with 5 performances. Ranked in the top 1 (including 11 best teams, top 2 including 11 teams with excellent results). Lao Cai was evaluated as the unit with outstanding rituals and competition programs and was 1 of 7 units selected to perform at the Festival's closing program.
The performances of the Lao Cai troupe not only demonstrated the spirit of solidarity, discipline and creativity of the children, but also clearly depicted the beauty of highland culture and deep affection for their homeland and country.
This achievement is a worthy recognition of the spirit of effort, serious practice and love of art of Lao Cai children, and at the same time affirms the quality of Team activities at the Provincial Youth Activity Center.
