Lao Cai Provincial Center for Disease Control: Organizing training on leprosy prevention in 2025

Pursuant to Plan No. 191/KH-TTKSBT dated May 23, 2025 of Lao Cai Provincial Center for Disease Control on implementing the Health - Population Program, on the morning of October 21 at Van Yen Regional Medical Center, Lao Cai Provincial Center for Disease Control organized a training course on leprosy prevention in 2025.

Attending the training course were 38 trainees who were officers in charge of the leprosy prevention and control program from Van Yen Regional Health Center, commune health stations, and Dong Cuong Commune People's Committee.

Training class scene

At the training course, trainees were provided with basic knowledge on leprosy prevention for staff performing leprosy prevention work at Van Yen Regional Health Center and commune health stations where leprosy is endemic. The activity aims to improve the professional capacity of grassroots health workers, contributing to proactively controlling and eliminating leprosy in the province.
