On the morning of September 12, comrade Dinh Thi Thu Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, visited, expressed condolences and encouraged the family of martyr Nguyen Dong Canh (Deputy Head of the Crime Prevention Team, Xuan Loc Commune Police).

Here, comrade Dinh Thi Thu Thanh expressed her gratitude for the brave sacrifice of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dong Canh in the fight against crime. At the same time, she sent her deepest condolences to the family of martyr Nguyen Dong Canh, hoping that they will soon overcome the painful loss and stabilize their lives.

In recognition of the merits, dedication and heroic sacrifice of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dong Canh, the representative of the Ministry of Public Security previously presented the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal of the President to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dong Canh's relatives. The Minister of Public Security promoted Comrade Nguyen Dong Canh from major to lieutenant colonel ahead of schedule.

Comrade Dinh Thi Thu Thanh hopes that Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Tham - wife of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dong Canh - will take care of her health, soon overcome the painful loss, and stabilize her life.

On the afternoon of September 11, authorized by the Prime Minister , representatives of the Provincial Police Department presented the Certificate of Merit to the family of martyr Nguyen Dong Canh.
