Quang Nam College was recognized as meeting vocationaleducation quality accreditation standards after 3 years of official operation based on the merger of 6 vocational education institutions.
This morning, November 15, Quang Nam College held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2024 - 2025, received the decision to recognize the school as meeting vocational education quality accreditation standards and celebrated the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh, Principal of Quang Nam College, said that in the new school year 2024-2025, the school will enroll 1,715 students, reaching 98% of the target assigned by the Provincial People's Committee; bringing the total number of students in the school in the school year to 3,700 people.

After 3 years of official operation based on the merger of 6 vocational education institutions of the province, the school has gradually built and affirmed its brand in the vocational education system of the province. This year's enrollment results are the highest in recent years, recognizing the efforts of the school's teachers.
According to Ms. Phuong Anh, after 3 years of self-assessment of the quality of vocational education institutions, in 2024 the school completed the external assessment survey of the quality of vocational education institutions and was recognized as meeting the standards for accreditation of the quality of vocational education institutions.
"The school's achievement of the vocational education quality accreditation standards is an honor and pride for the entire school. This is an important milestone, affirming the continuous efforts of all staff, teachers and employees of the school in improving the quality of training to meet the increasingly high demands of society," Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh affirmed.
Quang Nam College receives decision to meet vocational education quality accreditation standards
Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Community College Association, emphasized that meeting the standards for vocational education quality accreditation will help schools affirm their training quality to society, learners, and employers. This is also the basis for the State to invest, bid, place orders, and assign training tasks to schools in the coming time.
"I believe that the success of Quang Nam College today will be a message spreading to the entire association, creating motivation for member units to strive together in quality assessment activities," affirmed Professor, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh.
