CMC University opens 4th course, welcomes nearly 1,600 new students

(Dan Tri) - On October 5, CMC University held the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, and awarded the "CMC - Because you deserve it" scholarship fund worth 96 billion VND to new students of the 4th course.

The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan, President of Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, former Vice President, Honorary President of CMC University Council, Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CMC Technology Group, Chairman of the University Council.

In addition, the opening ceremony was also attended by leaders of domestic and international organizations and enterprises that are strategic partners of CMC University, along with leaders, managers, lecturers and students of CMC University.

In 2025, CMC University will continue to expand its scale, opening new majors and training programs: artificial intelligence, software engineering, digital marketing, logistics and supply chain management, e-commerce, game graphics and Chinese language, bringing the total to 13 majors and training programs with nearly 4,000 students in the whole school.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Principal of CMC University - emphasized the school's key tasks in the 2025-2026 school year.

Accordingly, the school plans to develop two more international joint programs, open five new training majors, and promote the application of AI in training, research, management, and communication.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung also affirmed the vision of developing CMC University into a pioneering digital university, closely connecting institutes - schools - businesses to train a generation of students ready to integrate and lead the era of artificial intelligence.

Also at the event, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan and Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh awarded scholarships to 30 excellent students who received full scholarships from the "CMC - Because you deserve it" fund worth 96 billion VND.

This is the fourth consecutive year that this scholarship fund has been awarded to new students with the mission of accompanying and encouraging the opportunity to study in an international standard learning environment for students nationwide.

In 2025, CMC University will continue to implement the program of giving laptops to new students. This is a custom-made product, integrating free AI features to optimally support students' learning process, creating conditions for research practice in a technological environment.

The laptop donation program for new students will actively contribute to the school's AI transformation strategy.

In addition, the school commits to providing jobs for 100% of K4 graduates with GPA of 3.2 or higher at CMC, Samsung and the school's strategic partners.

In parallel with the training process, students will have a semester of practice at domestic and foreign enterprises, helping them access the real working environment, practice professional skills and increase their ability to adapt to the requirements of the labor market.
