Candidates for the art aptitude test at Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture

Accordingly, the school recruits students by the method of selection and selection combined with the Art Aptitude test. For the admission method, admission is based on the results of the high school graduation exam according to the following subject groups: C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Literature, Math, English), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English), D15 (Literature, Geography, English).

Admission based on high school results (report card scores) of some cultural subjects in the subject groups: C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Literature, Math, English), D09 (Math, History, English), D10 (Math, Geography, English), D15 (Literature, Geography, English).

Students of Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture participate in the exchange at the cultural festival of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

For the form of combined examination and selection, applicable to the major of Organizing and staging cultural and artistic programs under the Cultural Management major, with the examination codes R01, R02, R03 and R04. Accordingly, R01: Examination of Literature, Geography and examination of Artistic Aptitude; R02: Examination of Literature, Math and examination of Artistic Aptitude; R03: Examination of Literature, English and examination of Artistic Aptitude; R04: Examination of Literature and examination of 2 subjects Artistic Aptitude 1 and Artistic Aptitude 2. All Artistic Aptitude subjects are examined directly at the school.

The Art Talent Test 1 is Art Performance Test. Candidates choose and express their artistic talent through one of the following forms: Singing, performing musical instruments, dancing, acting, or presenting. The Art Talent Test 1 scale is 10 points, expressed through the content of the performance, the form of expression, appearance, and ensuring the correct time limit. The Art Talent Test 2 is the ability to understand art. Candidates draw lots and answer questions directly according to the test requirements, with the test content being the ability to identify situations in cultural and artistic activities. This test also has a 10-point scale, expressed through theoretical knowledge, identifying practical situations, behavioral culture, and ensuring the correct time limit.

The school reserves 3% of the enrollment quota for each major for direct admission. For the regulation on direct admission to artistic talent subjects, candidates must win prizes in artistic talent competitions (singing, performing musical instruments, dancing, acting, presenting, photography, drawing, composing musical and theatrical works) at the provincial level or equivalent, the awards have performance categories suitable for the content of the artistic talent competition in the major of Organizing and staging cultural and artistic programs.

The time for submitting applications for the art talent contest is from May 5 to June 30. Candidates will gather to listen to the announcement of the contest regulations from 9:00 a.m. on July 13; the contest time is from 1:00 p.m. on July 13-14. The contest location is at Campus 1, Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture.
