University of Education High School for the Gifted announced the benchmark scores for grade 10 admission.

TPO - This year, the IT, Literature and English specialized classes all got 21/30 points, the highest score at the University of Education Specialized High School.

The High School for the Gifted ( Hanoi National University of Education) has just announced the entrance exam scores for grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year.

This year, the highest entrance score for grade 10 at the Pedagogical Specialized High School is in the IT specialized classes (Math), Literature, and English, all with 21/30 points. The next are Chemistry specialized classes (20.25 points) and Math (20 points). This is the total score of two exam subjects, including the specialized subject (coefficient 2) and Literature, Math, or English (depending on the specialized class).

The specific benchmark scores for entering grade 10 at the Pedagogical High School in 2025 are as follows:

In the 2025-2026 school year, Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted will enroll 420 students. Of which, four specialized classes in Math, Chemistry, Literature and English will enroll 70 students per class; while IT, Physics, Biology and Geography will enroll 35 students per class.

The total number of candidates taking the entrance exam to the school is 5,721.

The increase in applications is mainly in the English specialized class, the competition ratio is 1/22.9, meaning on average only one out of 23 students is admitted.

The IT class ranked second in terms of entrance competition with a competition ratio of 1/19.1. The quota for the IT class was 35, but 670 candidates registered. Of these, nearly 560 students chose to take the entrance exam in Math, the rest in IT.

The three specialized classes of Literature, Physics and Biology have a competition ratio of over 12. This ratio in the specialized classes of Math and Chemistry is approximately 10, and the specialized class of Geography is the lowest at 1/6.8.
