The stories are told in a simple, unpretentious, and captivating way, further clarifying the image of the great leader of the nation, a typical revolutionary fighter of the national liberation movement in the early 20th century, and a shining example of noble internationalism and compassion.

These are valuable documents that contribute to clarifying the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, from the time he left to find a way to save the country to the early years after the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The original book was published by Bat Nguyen Publishing House (China) in 1949, translated by Truong Niem Thuc from a work by Tran Dan Tien. The Chinese translation also does not specify the original language or the author Tran Dan Tien. Later, the book was widely published online by the National Library of China. The Vietnamese translation was done by Nguyen Hai Hoanh and Duong Trung Dung, edited by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Toan, and published by the National Political Publishing House.
