Youth of the Provincial Border Guard participate in patrolling, controlling and protecting the border

In 2023, in carrying out assigned political tasks, the youth of the provincial Border Guard promoted the spirit of vanguard; actively participated in patrolling, controlling and protecting the border in more than 4,000 sessions with the participation of more than 14,000 cadres and youth union members; performed the task of carrying out exit and entry procedures and exit and entry procedures in border areas for tens of thousands of passengers; created conditions and strictly implemented the work of checking, controlling customs clearance, sorting export and import goods; temporary import for re-export, and transit goods with hundreds of thousands of tons of goods.

Cadres and Youth Union members also contribute to the fight against, prevent and effectively stop smuggling, trade fraud and other crimes on the border.

According to statistics, from September 2018 to August 2023, officers and youth union members in the provincial Border Guard directly participated in and coordinated with functional forces to successfully combat 15 projects and cases; discovered and arrested 1,057 cases/848 subjects.

Senior Lieutenant Truong Van Tuan - Captain of the Armed Forces Team, Ben Pho Border Guard Station, shared: "With the assigned duties and responsibilities, I actively advise the unit commander in combat readiness training, directly command the Armed Forces Team to patrol and protect the border, contributing to maintaining political security, order and social safety in the border area."

In addition, in 2023, cadres and youth union members in the provincial Border Guard actively coordinated with local departments, branches and organizations to organize 680 propaganda and mobilization sessions with more than 10,000 people participating; 628 small-scale propaganda sessions with more than 5,600 people attending; 286 hours of propaganda via loudspeakers and Border Guard Loudspeakers; distributed more than 14,000 leaflets, hung 220 banners and propaganda slogans.

Participating in local socio-economic development, in 2023, the force of cadres and youth union members participated in helping families in difficult circumstances and policy families in the area for 214 sessions; organizing cleaning, repairing, building environmental landscapes, dredging canals, ditches and rural roads for more than 30km.
