At the ceremony, the Da Nang City Youth Union honored 26 advanced Youth Unions, 21 advanced youths following Uncle Ho's teachings, and rewarded 22 collectives with outstanding achievements in implementing the model "Reading books about Uncle Ho, learning and following" in 2022 - 2023. These are typical collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; talented and enthusiastic Youth Union, Association and Team cadres; young people overcoming difficulties in starting a business; young people in the armed forces fighting bravely, completing their tasks excellently; typical examples in volunteer activities, participating in building new rural areas...
The model of “Reading books about Uncle Ho, learning and following” has been regularly implemented by District, County Youth Unions and affiliated Youth Unions through monthly activities of Youth Union Branches and Associations. After 2 years of implementing the model, Youth Union chapters at all levels in the city have implemented about 1,900 activities. The Standing Committee of the City Youth Union presented 20 bookcases and 2,000 books about Uncle Ho to Lien Chieu District Youth Union, Hoa Bac Commune Youth Union and Dai Loc District Youth Union with a total cost of more than 80 million VND.

At the Commendation Ceremony, Secretary of the City Youth Union Nguyen Manh Dung said: The award for advanced Youth Union branches and advanced youths of Da Nang city following Uncle Ho's teachings and the model of "Reading books about Uncle Ho, learning and following" affirms the prestige and vitality of youth life; at the same time, it discovers and honors many outstanding individuals in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings, spreading good values in society, conveying meaningful messages for the city's young generation to practice and strive.
These are typical and creative models, methods and solutions of the City Youth Union to effectively implement Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the 12th Politburo "On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle". These activities contribute to promoting the pioneering, proactive and creative spirit of Da Nang youth in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example in the coming period.
