This year's "Supporting the Exam Season" program attracted more than 1,700 volunteers to participate in the activities. Volunteers were divided into 87 teams present at 22 high school exam sites to support candidates throughout the exam process. Volunteer teams carried out many meaningful activities for candidates at the exam sites such as: presenting gifts and scholarships to candidates in difficult circumstances; coordinating with functional forces to regulate and ensure traffic; distributing free drinking water, keeping watch over belongings, distributing exam material bags, establishing a "0-dong motorbike taxi" team to support and pick up candidates in emergency situations; organizing free meals for candidates; cleaning exam sites before, during and after the exam... all to contribute to the exam taking place safely and effectively, and candidates achieving high results.
Mr. Doan Thanh Cong, Deputy Secretary in charge of the provincial Youth Union, said: "Supporting exam season" is an annual activity of youth organizations and associations at all levels to create favorable conditions for accommodation and travel for candidates, especially those in difficult circumstances, in remote areas; ensuring that candidates arrive at the exam location on time with all necessary items, thereby helping candidates to be confident and proactive in taking the high school exam.
Since May 2025, districts, city youth unions, youth organizations, and school associations in the province have organized propaganda activities so that candidates can clearly understand the exam regulations and the important time points before and during the exam on Facebook and Zalo. Joining hands to support candidates in the high school exam, the Youth Union and school youth associations have organized volunteer teams of young teachers to organize review sessions, share knowledge review videos , and introduce students to reputable review channels. Organized late-night meals for students to review. Districts and city youth unions coordinated to review and develop support plans for students in difficult circumstances, in remote areas. Implementing the policy of 3 linkages: linking localities, linking forces, linking communities in mobilizing resources to support candidates participating in the exam, districts and city youth unions have proactively connected and mobilized socialized resources to support candidates with travel expenses, accommodation, lunch, drinking water, etc. Up to now, the total amount of money mobilized is 74 million VND, in addition to stationery, necessities such as bottled water, snacks, raincoats, umbrellas, pencils, rulers, plastic bags, etc. At this time, heavy rain often occurs, volunteer teams are also fully equipped with umbrellas and raincoats to ensure the health of volunteers as well as candidates participating in the exam.
Ms. Luong Thu Huong, Deputy Secretary in charge of Trang Dinh District Youth Union, said: This year, in Trang Dinh district, there are 570 candidates participating in the high school exam at one exam location, Trang Dinh High School. To support the students in this important exam, in the past time, we have connected, mobilized resources and received enthusiastic support from organizations and individuals inside and outside the district. The total resources that the District Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of the district called for and mobilized are worth over 20,000,000 VND. On the morning of June 24, we presented gifts worth 7 million VND to 35 candidates in difficult circumstances; supported 50 meals, 16 boxes of mineral water; awarded support funds and uniform shirts and hats to volunteers. During the exam, the District Youth Union will also present 600 cups of lemon tea and some necessities to candidates and volunteers.
A bottle of water, a pen or good luck wishes are the companionship and sharing of pressure of the Youth Union and Association at all levels with candidates in the high school exam. We believe that the meaningful activities of the Youth Union and Association at all levels as well as volunteers will add confidence and strength to the candidates to overcome this important exam.
