Lam Dong Provincial Military Command evaluates the results of reorganization of local armed forces

The report stated that, in the past time, implementing the directives, resolutions, and conclusions of the Politburo, the Central Military Commission, and the direction of the Ministry of National Defense on streamlining and organizing local armed forces in a streamlined and effective manner, the Military Command of Dak Nong province (formerly) has synchronously and resolutely deployed the assigned contents, ensuring the correct progress, procedures, and regulations.

Accordingly, the Military Command of Dak Nong Province (old) has completed the dissolution of 8 district-level Military Commands, established 28 commune-level Military Commands and regional defense command boards. At the same time, it organized 18 classes to disseminate the resolution, developed and issued a system of directive documents and instructions for implementation; chaired the conference to deploy the project, carried out the handover of headquarters, weapons, equipment, assets, records, defense works, training grounds, etc. strictly and in accordance with regulations; mobilized and appointed 520 cadres and professional soldiers, ensuring the principles of democracy and transparency.

In addition, the handover of all defense works and specialized documents was also organized; the organization and staffing of the militia and self-defense force were completed; the grassroots political system was consolidated, the party organization, ideological work, logistics and technology were stabilized, ensuring readiness to receive and successfully complete tasks in the new situation.

Speaking at the Conference, Colonel Dinh Hong Tieng, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of Lam Dong Provincial Military Command emphasized: The reorganization of local military agencies in Dak Nong was carried out methodically, scientifically and effectively, contributing to improving the overall quality and combat strength of the provincial armed forces, meeting the requirements of local defense and military tasks in the current period.
