Recruiting 1,000 Vietnamese workers to work in Korea

According to the leader of the Provincial Employment Service Center, the Overseas Labor Center (Ministry of Home Affairs) has just announced the recruitment of 1,000 Vietnamese workers to work in Korea, including 700 welding workers and 300 mold workers, under the EPS Program in 2025.

Accordingly, the participants are students studying welding and molding at intermediate level or higher; soldiers and police officers discharged from 2024, with vocational training cards issued by the Ministry of National Defense ; workers who have registered for the shipbuilding industry (expired records), have a related intermediate degree or experience in welding and molding; people who scored 110-145 points in Korean (2024 exam), have appropriate degrees and experience. Workers aged 18-39, no criminal record, no exit ban; never been deported from Korea; if they have worked with an E9/E10 visa, the residence period is less than 5 years; good health, no color blindness, tuberculosis, syphilis, drug addiction.

The cost of welding training is from 9 to 10 million VND, mold training is from 7 to 8 million VND. Korean language training fee is 4.25 million VND, exam fee is 28 USD. When selected to work in Korea, workers will receive a basic salary of 38 million VND/month or more (2,096,270 won), excluding overtime and insurance. 3-year contract, can be extended for another 1 year and 10 months; opportunity to re-enter under the EPS Program.
