National Athlete Selection from Compak Sporting 2025 Flying Disc Shooting Championship

On April 24, at the Da Lat City Training Center, the Vietnam Shooting Federation held the opening ceremony of the Compak Sporting Flying Disc Shooting Tournament Spring Cup - Da Lat 2025.

The tournament is organized by the Vietnam Shooting Federation in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province, the People's Committee of Da Lat city and the Military Command of Da Lat city.

Mr. Do Van Binh - President of Vietnam Shooting Federation said that currently, Compak Sporting flying disc shooting has been developing strongly all over the world , attracting a large number of professional athletes and fans who love flying disc shooting.

Compak Sporting has been considered by the International Olympic Committee to be included in the official Olympic competition. In 2025, Compak Sporting will also be an official competition at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) held in Thailand in December 2025.

This year's tournament took place from April 22-26 at the Da Lat City Training Center, gathering 30 excellent athletes from 8 teams and clubs including: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hung Yen, Hai Duong teams, Saigon Clay Shooting Club, Saigon Sniper Club, Ducati Doc Saigon Club, Da Lat Vbox Team Club.

Athletes will compete for medals in individual and team events according to the Compak Flying Disc Shooting Rules issued by the International Flying Disc Shooting Federation (FITASC).

This is the second time that the Vietnam Shooting Federation has organized the Compak Sporting Flying Disc Shooting Competition in the high-performance shooting competition system with socialized funding. Through the competition, the Federation will select, train, and nurture young, talented athletes in Compak Sporting flying disc shooting to participate in international competitions in 2025 and the following years.
