Vietnam team lands in Malaysia, determined to get 3 away points

At noon on June 6, the Vietnamese team arrived in Kuala Lumpur, ready for the decisive match with host Malaysia, the second match of Group F, the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.

At noon on June 6, many Vietnamese people living, studying and working in Malaysia went to the airport to wait for coach Kim Sang Sik and his team.

Every time they play away, the Vietnamese team always receives the support of a large number of fans.

Fans waited for hours at the airport.

At around 11:30 a.m. (local time), Coach Kim Sang Sik and his students arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia.

Coach Kim Sang Sik received fresh bouquets of flowers from Vietnamese fans.

Quang Hai receives special "care" from fans.

Despite many difficulties, the Vietnamese team is still confident of defeating Malaysia on away ground.

"We studied Malaysia quite early. The coaching staff has all the parameters, videos and data about the opposing players. When we go to Malaysia, the coaches will definitely monitor more to adjust the appropriate tactics," said center back and captain Do Duy Manh.

From the airport, the Vietnamese team members traveled about 40km to their base. It is expected that in the afternoon of the same day, Tien Linh and his teammates will have their first training session in Kuala Lumpur.

Vietnam team aims to win all 3 points right at the "fire pan" of Bukit Jalil. The "final" match of Group F will kick off at 8pm on June 10.
