In particular, the high school graduation exam scores of Bac Ninh province students are always at the top of the country. This shows that the qualityof education and training in the province is constantly improving.

The scale of education and school network has developed, the quality of teaching and learning has been maintained at a good level, the percentage of students achieving high rankings in high school graduation exams, national and international excellent student exams...

In 2023-2024, Bac Ninh province will have a total of 506 schools; 11,554 groups of children/classes from preschool to high school, an increase of 325 groups of children/classes compared to the previous year. Of which, there are 465 public schools, accounting for 92%; 1 pedagogical college, 2 continuing education centers, 1 provincial vocational education - continuing education center; 5 district vocational education - continuing education centers that teach continuing education programs at high school level; 85 foreign language centers; 10 centers to support the development of inclusive education; 30 centers for life skills education and extracurricular activities.

Through the number of training facilities and the increasingly widespread educational network, it can be seen that the education sector of Bac Ninh province is increasingly showing its internal strength as well as the potential to expand and develop its scale. With a large number of staff and teachers of up to 17,850 people, of which the proportion of teachers with qualified qualifications accounts for over 96%, the education sector of Bac Ninh province is proud of its abundant teaching force in quantity and excellent in quality.

In particular, the whole sector currently has 12 PhDs; 1,762 masters; the proportion of cadres and teachers with qualifications above the standard accounts for 40.8%. The dedicated contribution of the elite teaching staff has contributed to creating outstanding achievements and raising the educational level of Bac Ninh province on the national education map.

Possessing all the necessary elements to build strong educational achievements, in recent years, the training career of Bac Ninh province has continuously recorded progress in the quality of mass education.

In the 2023-2024 school year, the provincial education sector received good news when the Ministry of Education and Training announced that Bac Ninh province was in the top 5 provinces nationwide in terms of average scores of subjects in the 2024 high school graduation exam.

Specifically, the whole province has 17,688 candidates registered for the exam. The average score of Bac Ninh province is 7.21 points, ranking 5th nationwide, after the provinces and cities: Vinh Phuc, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Binh Duong. Of which, Bac Ninh province has 13/19 top students in group C nationwide with a total score of 29.75 points; 37 second place students in group C nationwide with a total score of 29.50 points; 2 second place students in group D nationwide with a total score of 28.70 points.

Notably, the average scores of Bac Ninh's subjects this year have recorded a clear improvement compared to the 2023 high school graduation exam. Specifically, in math, in 2023, Bac Ninh achieved an average score of 6.70, ranking 7th nationwide. However, in this year's exam, the average math score of students in the whole province increased to 7.0, helping Bac Ninh rise to 3rd place in the national rankings. Similarly, in physics, Bac Ninh not only maintained its 2nd place but also increased its average score from 7.3 to 7.46, surpassing the national average score of 6.67.

Notably, Nguyen Huu Tien Hung, a 12th grade student from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, won the Gold Medal at the 2024 International Chemistry Olympiad (ICHO).
