Before the match, many people highly appreciated U10 Quang Xuong - the team that passed the group stage with 6 absolute points and sharp, even playing style. Meanwhile, Yen Dinh only won the right to continue as the second team in Group G, having to struggle to hold U10 Hoang Hoa to a draw in the final match to get through the narrow door. However, the match situation brought a completely different ending.
In the 4th minute, the home team Quang Xuong created the first dangerous opportunity with a free kick from a long distance by Sy Nhat. The ball went dangerously towards the far corner but Yen Dinh's goalkeeper played with concentration and made an excellent save.
When the match was still in a stalemate, in the 8th minute, Yen Dinh unexpectedly opened the score. From a smart pass from Ngan Dai Bao - a 9-year-old player in the team, Ngoc Vinh ran down and finished coolly, putting the white team up 1-0. This was a rare display of understanding and bravery of the young players in a knockout match.

After conceding the goal, Quang Xuong rose up to find an equalizer. Opportunities were continuously created but in Yen Dinh's goal, goalkeeper Viet Phong still showed his brilliant form when he denied Sy Nhat's one-on-one shot in the 17th minute - a situation that could have changed the whole situation.
It seemed like the first half would end with a score of 1-0, but in the final seconds, Ngoc Vinh once again spoke up. After a tricky dribble in the middle, the player wearing the number 10 shirt fired a shot, the ball hit defender Quang Xuong's foot and changed direction, flying into the net, setting the score at 2-0 before the break.

Entering the second half, the game continued to favor Yen Dinh. Right at the beginning of the half, Ngoc Vinh almost completed his hat-trick after a one-on-one situation, but his shot hit the crossbar just wide.
However, the best player of the match did not have to wait long. In the 31st minute, from a central attack, Ngoc Vinh controlled the ball skillfully, then turned and shot diagonally with feeling, completing an impressive hat-trick, raising the score to 3-0 for Yen Dinh.
Not stopping there, in the 34th minute, Vu Anh Khoi dribbled the ball strongly on the left wing, passed two yellow-shirted defenders and then fired a decisive shot that defeated goalkeeper Quang Xuong, sealing a convincing 4-0 victory for the Tri Duc Thanh Yen Dinh General Hospital team.
Despite his efforts, Sy Nhat could not help U10 Xu Quang Quang Xuong get an equalizer.
With this impressive performance, coach Vu Van Chung and his team became the first team to enter the U10 semi-finals and will wait to meet the winner of the match between Thach Thanh and Nong Cong.
