Accordingly, Phu Ninh district will rearrange the specialized departments in a streamlined manner, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management. Specifically: Establishing the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. Establishing the Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; at the same time receiving the task of poverty reduction from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Establish the Department of Culture, Science and Information on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of the Department of Culture - Information and some tasks on science and technology from the Department of Economy and Infrastructure. Establish the Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas, receiving the functions and tasks of the Department of Economy and Infrastructure; at the same time, transfer the tasks on science and technology to the Department of Culture, Science and Information.
Some specialized agencies were also reorganized to optimize functions and tasks. Specifically: The Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district received the functions and tasks of social protection, children, and social evil prevention from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; at the same time, the ethnic work was transferred to the Department of Home Affairs. The Department of Education and Training received the task of advising on state management of vocationaleducation from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
After the reorganization, Phu Ninh District People's Committee has 9 specialized agencies including: Department of Home Affairs; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Culture, Science and Information; Department of Education and Training; Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Areas; District Inspectorate; Department of Justice; Department of Finance - Planning; Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district.
