The City People's Committee agreed in principle to allow Luong The Vinh High School to temporarily change its operating location.

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – The Chairman of the City People's Committee has just agreed in principle to allow Luong The Vinh High School to temporarily move its operating location from address: No. 10 Tam Bac, Minh Khai Ward, Hong Bang District to a new address at: Lot TH - Kindergarten, Him Lam - Hung Vuong Residential Area, Hung Vuong Ward, Hong Bang District at the request of the Department of Education and Training. The period is from May 2025 to May 2028.

The Departmentof Education and Training shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies, based on regulations on conditions for high schools to operate educational activities, to conduct inspections, reviews and allow Luong The Vinh High School to temporarily operate at a new location according to current regulations.

Luong The Vinh High School, formerly known as Toa Xe Private High School, was established under Decision No. 750-QD-VX dated September 21, 1989 of the City People's Committee. After 36 years of construction and development, the school has made many important contributions to the city's education.

Up to now, Luong The Vinh High School has trained nearly 10,000 graduates, many of whom have been admitted to top universities across the country, contributing to providing high-quality human resources for society.

With its achievements, the School is honored to receive many Certificates of Merit from the City People's Committee, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the City Labor Federation. Notably, in the 2023-2024 school year, the school is one of 8 collectives under the Department of Education and Training that have excellently completed their school year tasks and were awarded the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" by the Chairman of the City People's Committee. At the same time, this is also the only high school in the city to be recognized as a level 2 learning unit.
