On the morning of October 21, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Ho Van Mung chaired a thematic meeting to approve the contents under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee members and submit them to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; the meeting was attended by Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee considered and approved many important contents, such as: Report on the list of land funds expected to be paid to investors implementing BT projects in An Giang province; prepare and adjust the An Giang Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; draft resolution of the Provincial People's Council regulating the decentralization of spending tasks on environmental protection in the province; draft resolution of the Provincial People's Council approving the Project to establish the An Giang Provincial Farmers Support Fund.

Specifically, there are 4 land plots: One is the land plot belonging to the project of building embankments and leveling the ground for the construction of the APEC Conference Center and other functional works (not including 16.06 hectares of the APEC Conference Center and APEC Avenue project), with a total scale of 34.89 hectares. Two is the land plot in the old Phu Quoc airport area (Duong Dong Urban Area), with a scale of 70.55 hectares. Three is the land plot oriented to a mixed urban - tourism and sports area in Cua Can, with a scale of 586.2 hectares. Four is the land plot oriented to a mixed urban - tourism and golf course in Cua Can, with a scale of 663.7 hectares.

Requested the Department of Health to proactively work with the Provincial Social Insurance to implement health insurance targets. Assigned the Department of Science and Technology to preside over the implementation of projects and topics on science and technology applied in production such as rice cultivation, shrimp and fish farming, etc.
