Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee requested Dien Ban town to arrange funds for compensation and site clearance for the project "Repair and return of section Km0

The above project is about 1.7km long; the scale of the level III plain road is according to TCVN 4054:2005 standard. The total investment of the project is about 40 billion VND, of which the provincial budget supports more than 37.2 billion VND to implement the project and supports 70% of the compensation and site clearance costs. The remaining is the Dien Ban town budget to arrange counterpart capital for implementation.

The project was initially scheduled to be implemented from 2019 to 2021, but due to many problems, after 3 extensions by the Provincial People's Committee, the project is now scheduled to be completed on June 30, 2024. The total approved compensation and site clearance amount is more than 13 billion VND.

However, the cost of compensation and site clearance for this project has increased by more than 3.95 billion VND compared to the estimate approved by the Provincial People's Committee. The Provincial People's Committee has further allocated funds from the provincial budget of more than 2.77 billion VND (equivalent to 70% x 3.95 billion VND) to pay for the additional cost. The remaining amount of nearly 1.18 billion VND (equivalent to 30% x 3.95 billion VND), the Provincial People's Committee requested Dien Ban to use the local budget to continue paying for the additional cost.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to coordinate and work with the Dien Ban Town People's Committee to complete compensation, site clearance, and implement construction to complete the project on schedule. In addition, the Board coordinates and works with relevant departments, branches, and units to complete documents and procedures to ensure conditions for acceptance and final settlement of project completion in accordance with regulations.
