The Hotel Technology and Innovation Exhibition and Forum (HORECFEX Vietnam 2024) is an annual event that promotes innovation and growth for the Hotel, Restaurant and Food Service Business Community. Thereby, it contributes to creating conditions for businesses in the hotel, restaurant and food service sector to improve customer experience, service quality, and optimize operational management.
Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh said: "In the context of Vietnam's tourism growing strongly, Da Nang has become one of the centers attracting international and domestic tourists. The tourism boom has promoted the hotel, restaurant and service industry in the city to constantly improve quality and apply advanced technologies to enhance the experience for visitors. However, in order to fully exploit the development potential and create sustainable values, there needs to be innovation and close cooperation from many sides."
At the program, delegates focused on connecting and sharing solutions in the tourism and hospitality sector, information on the application of innovative technology in the operation of hotels, restaurants, and food service establishments... to keep up with changes in the world, contributing to the overall development of Vietnam's tourism industry.
According to Ms. Do Thi Hong Xoan, Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association, President of the Hotel Association, Vietnam is currently considered one of the ten countries with the most developed tourism industry in the world by the WTO, with up to 38,000 accommodation establishments, so the need for advanced technology in the integration period is extremely important. The Exhibition and Forum on Technology, Innovation and Creativity in the Hotel Industry not only helps tourism service businesses develop, but also contributes to improving the overall travel experience of visitors to Vietnam, promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam tourism.
During the two days of September 23 and 24, the exhibition will introduce technology products, tourism service products; the forum with 09 seminar sessions including 40 presentations, discussions on the application of new technology, digital transformation and hotel industry management in the new era. The seminar has the participation and sharing of more than 55 domestic and international speakers, from leading units in the industry such as Microsoft, Oracle, FPT... Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, Vice President of Vietnam Hotel Association, Founder of HorecFex Vietnam expressed his hope that the Exhibition and Forum on Technology, Innovation and Creativity in the hotel industry will contribute to building Da Nang into a center for sharing the focus of leaders in the hospitality tourism industry, and in-depth training in the service tourism industry.
