Reviewing documents on investment policy for the route connecting the Western Ring Road to the La Son

On the afternoon of May 13, 2025, the Urban Committee of the City People's Council had a meeting with relevant units on the report proposing the investment policy for the project of the Road connecting the Western Ring Road to the La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway (behind the High-Tech Park).

At the meeting, the representative of the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects reported an overview of the proposed investment policy for the project of the Road connecting the Western Ring Road to the La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway. The investment in the Road connecting the Western Ring Road to the La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway will contribute to completing the network of main traffic axes according to the Master Plan of Da Nang City to 2030, vision 204; completing the high-quality beltway to the south and west of the city to serve the travel within the inner city, inter-urban areas and connecting key economic zones of Da Nang.

At the same time, promote the effectiveness of investment projects, connect the Concentrated Information Technology Park, High-Tech Park, Hoa Ninh Industrial Park, ... with the city's traffic axes, meeting future transportation needs, especially transporting goods from Lien Chieu port to the south, west of the city and vice versa. Forming a National Highway 1 bypass through the inner city area of the city to replace the Hai Van tunnel bypass route from Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan, which has been upgraded and expanded into a highway, thereby contributing to reducing the load on the central axes that are often congested during rush hours and minimizing traffic accidents.

Through the exchange and discussion of opinions, Mr. Le Tung Lam, Head of the Urban Committee of the City People's Council, requested the investor, departments and branches to absorb the opinions of the meeting participants, paying attention to clarifying some contents related to implementation resources, solutions on vibration prevention, assessing the impact of the project on the High-Tech Park and industrial parks... to complete the dossier to submit to competent authorities.
