'The Road to Unification' at Thang Long Imperial Citadel

From April 28 to May 31, a special exhibition called The Road to Reunification took place at the Revolutionary House and Tunnel D67 relic site, Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Site, Hanoi.

The exhibition is organized by the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

House and Bunker D67 are important revolutionary relics in the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Site, associated with the activities of the Politburo, Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense , and Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.

Here, from September 1968 to April 30, 1975, the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Workers' Party (since 1976, the Communist Party of Vietnam ), the Central Military Commission and the General Command of the People's Army focused their intelligence, proposed correct and creative policies and strategies, leading our people to the final victory of the resistance war against the US to save the country.

The historic decisions made from House and Bunker D67 led the resistance to miraculous victory, creating a historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, with the spirit of "lightning speed, boldness, surprise, sure victory".

The exhibition displays more than 200 valuable documents and images, vividly recreating the decisive sprint period from after the Paris Agreement (1973) to the Great Spring Victory of 1975 according to 3 themes: Strategic Decision of the General Headquarters, One Day is Equal to 20 Years and Marching to Saigon .

On this occasion, the Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center also implemented a plan to comprehensively renovate the House and Tunnel D67 relic, researched the restoration of the original color of the relic; initially implemented the project "Application of information technology to interpret the revolutionary relic House and Tunnel D67".

During the project implementation, the story of House and Tunnel D67 - the journey to total victory will be interpreted using modern technology, contributing to preserving and honoring the value of the relic, bringing visitors authentic and attractive experiences.
