Professional military major Nguyen Thi Ly - President of the Women's Union of Regiment 48 (Division 320, Corps 34) is a typical example in carrying out the tasks assigned by the unit and taking care of family work. With a scientific arrangement, Ms. Ly has balanced work and family, for many years always completing her tasks well and excellently.

In 2024, she was awarded the title of "Outstanding Female Cadre" by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army. Recently, she was awarded a certificate of merit by the Political Commissar of the 34th Corps for her outstanding achievements in women's work and the women's movement in the period 2020-2025.

“My main job is to cook in Battalion 2 and also holds the position of President of the Women's Union of the Regiment. I always keep in mind that my teammates and family members should constantly learn and improve their cooking skills, ensuring delicious, nutritious and food-safe meals.

As the President of the Women's Union, I have advised and proposed many measures to improve the quality of the Union's activities. I and the members actively participate in cultural, artistic and sports movements; exchange and establish friendship with local women's unions; visit families with meritorious services, contributing to building solidarity between the army and the people," said Ms. Ly.

At the 34th Corps, the Women's Union of the General Staff is also a typical example. In addition to performing well the tasks of training, combat readiness and increasing production, the members also effectively implemented many emulation models such as: "One good deed per week following Uncle Ho", "Nutritious meals"...

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many members volunteered to take on additional tasks such as logistics, disinfection, and supply, demonstrating a spirit of solidarity and high responsibility. In addition, the women also implemented many models such as "Piggy Bank" and "Scrap Collection" to create funds for gratitude, humanitarian and charitable activities, helping members' families and people in difficult circumstances.

“Maintaining the Association’s routine is emphasized with specialized sessions on child-rearing skills, spending management, and gender equality. These activities not only improve knowledge but also help members become more attached to the Association.

Thanks to that, the Women's Association of the General Staff has achieved the title of excellent and strong, and was awarded flags and certificates of merit by the General Department of Politics and the Army Corps for its outstanding achievements in women's work and the Army women's movement in 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024" - Professional military Colonel Duong Thi Phuong - President of the Women's Association of the General Staff - shared.

Determined to complete assigned tasks

In the period of 2020-2025, the emulation movement of the Women's Union at all levels in the Corps achieved many practical results, closely linked with the campaigns and emulation movements to win. 100% of the Women's Union at all levels developed plans to study and follow the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh. Over 98% of the member families met the criteria of "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" and the title of "Cultural family".

Many models such as: "Sharing love, strengthening comradeship", "Rice savings jar", "Saving groups", "Saving piggy banks", "Bowl of water on the training ground"... have brought high efficiency. Currently, 22 Women's Unions in the Corps are implementing 22 "Saving piggy banks" models with an amount of about 3 billion VND; 22 groups/22 Women's Unions in the Corps are implementing the "Saving groups" model with an amount of over 230 million VND.

Professional military lieutenant colonel Nguyen Thi Hong Minh - Assistant to Women of the Mass Affairs Department (Political Department, Army Corps 34) said: “Over the past 5 years, members of 22 Women's Associations in the Army Corps have organized and implemented many activities and models with high efficiency. In the period 2020-2025, 5 Women's Associations were awarded certificates of merit by the General Department of Politics and 30 collectives and 689 individuals were awarded at all levels.

The Women's Union of the 34th Corps is implementing the emulation movement "Women in the Army are intelligent, brave, complete their tasks well, build happy families, and are worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era". The goal is to have 98% of cadres and members meet the 3 emulation movement standards; 100% of the Women's Union complete their tasks well or better".

According to Major General Nguyen Tran Long - Deputy Political Commissar of Army Corps 34: In the period of 2020-2025, the Executive Committee of the Women's Union at all levels of the Army Corps has achieved many outstanding achievements in work, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive unit and happy families.

In the coming time, the Women's Executive Committees at all levels need to be more proactive and creative in advising, proposing, and concretizing policies on women's work. Members must constantly cultivate revolutionary qualities and ethics, actively study, research, and be dedicated to their profession, in the spirit of self-confidence, self-reliance, self-reliance, national pride, and be worthy of the title of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era.
