
At around 2:30 p.m., the price of SJC gold bars was increased by 500,000 VND for both buying and selling compared to this morning by SJC, PNJ and Bao Tin Minh Chau, a total increase of 1.7 million VND for both buying and selling, trading at 118.5 million VND/tael for buying and 121 million VND/tael for selling.
Phu Quy Group alone decreased the buying price by 500,000 VND but increased the selling price by 500,000 VND compared to this morning, a total increase of 1.7 million VND in buying price and 1.2 million VND in selling price compared to yesterday, trading at 118 million VND/tael for buying and 121 million VND/tael for selling.
The price of 9999 gold rings this afternoon was also increased by 200,000 VND for both buying and selling compared to this morning by Phu Quy Group, a total increase of 1 million VND for both buying and selling compared to yesterday, trading at 112.5 million VND/tael for buying and 115.5 million VND/tael for selling.
PNJ and SJC companies are still trading at this morning's price: 112 million VND/tael for buying and 115 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 1 million VND for both buying and selling compared to yesterday.
Bao Tin Minh Chau Company also listed the price unchanged compared to this morning, at 114.5 million VND/tael for buying and 117.5 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 700,000 VND for both buying and selling compared to yesterday.
On the world gold market, the spot gold price on Kitco floor at 2:45 p.m. on May 21 (Vietnam time) continued to rise to 3,314.2 USD/ounce, up 10 USD compared to this morning. This price after conversion is equivalent to 104.4 million VND/tael, lower than SJC gold bars by about 16.6 million VND/tael and lower than the price of 9999 gold rings by about 11.1-13.2 million VND/tael.
