Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City presented a symbolic plaque donating funds to Long An province to build 30 houses adjacent to the border militia post.
Each house is built on an area of 80 - 100m2 and is designed according to the model of a level 4 house. The construction funding is supported by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Command with a total cost of 2.4 billion VND, the rest is contributed by the people.
Beneficiaries are households with productive land who voluntarily live in the border area. Each family has productive land of 2,000 - 3,000m2 , ensuring that people can develop their family economy and settle permanently on the border.
Delegates perform the groundbreaking ceremony for house construction.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Colonel Pham Van Quoc - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, affirmed that the adjacent residential areas are solid positions of the people, contributing to protecting sovereignty , security and building peaceful and stable relations on the border.
Colonel Pham Van Quoc hopes that households will promote their exemplary role, strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and actively work and produce; at the same time, the Party Committee and local authorities will always pay attention to creating all conditions for people to have a stable life./.
