Lessons on the topic of Uncle Ho were designed vividly by teachers at Mang Non Kindergarten (Ward 3, Tan An City) to attract children to participate.
At Mang Non Kindergarten (Ward 3), Uncle Ho's birthday themed activities have become the highlight of the May program. Mang Non Kindergarten Principal - Nguyen Thi Xuan Mai shared: "We identify May as an important occasion toeducate children about national traditions and history , starting with familiar images like Uncle Ho with children . Lessons are flexibly structured, combining learning and playing, helping children to easily absorb and remember."
This year, the class led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Huynh had many activities. The children wore red flag shirts with yellow stars , and learned to sing songs about Uncle Ho and their homeland and country. The teachers also guided the children to make a bamboo model - a symbol of the resilient and indomitable Vietnamese people - and a model of the map of Vietnam from used plastic bottles.
Ms. Phuong Huynh shared: “At preschool age, if knowledge is conveyed rigidly, it will be difficult for children to understand and remember. Therefore, teachers need to be more creative and flexible in organizing activities. For example, when teaching about the map of Vietnam, we do not use ready-made drawings but let children create their own shapes using recycled materials. When working together and talking with teachers and friends, children will remember longer and understand more about their country.”
The atmosphere of celebrating Uncle Ho's birthday is also bustling and exciting at Hoa Sen Kindergarten (Ward 7). Every year, the school tries to innovate so that children can feel more clearly the image of Uncle Ho, patriotism, love for nature, sea and islands.
In class, under the guidance of teachers, children attentively followed the reportage about the life, career and background of Uncle Ho through images and easy-to-understand stories. Arousing love for the homeland and respect for Uncle Ho is not only the content of traditional education but also a way to sow the first seeds of morality in children's souls.
Vice Principal of Hoa Sen Kindergarten - Nguyen Thi Diem said: "We organize for children to read poems about Uncle Ho, look at pictures, and talk together about the simple and familiar example of Uncle Ho. The most important thing is that the images conveyed must be easy to remember and understand, so that children can see that Uncle Ho is very close to and loves children."

In addition to classroom activities, many schools in the city also decorate their campuses with flags, pictures of Uncle Ho, and paintings of children playing and studying. Every corner of the classroom, every product made by the children themselves is associated with the image of the country, love for the homeland, and gratitude towards the beloved Father of the nation.
Seemingly simple activities such as coloring, making models, reading poems or looking at pictures of Uncle Ho, when organized properly and appropriately, will become the first lessons of patriotism for young children. Through meaningful, gentle but profound activities, kindergartens in Tan An City gradually sow the seeds of sacred feelings for the homeland and country in the souls of children.
From the school environment, the love and respect for Uncle Ho is gently nurtured through each story and each lesson. This is also the way that schools are persistently implementing, contributing to building a moral and personality foundation for the preschool generation right from the first years of life./.
