At the ceremony, President Vo Van Thuong highly appreciated the solidarity, unanimity, and overcoming of all difficulties and challenges of generations of teachers and students of the school during the 31 years of construction and development. From this beloved school, thousands of students from the Bahnar, Jrai, Thai, Nung, Tay ethnic groups have grown up and contributed high-quality human resources to serve the cause of socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the province and the Central Highlands. The President reminded the students to always keep in mind that: "Today, if students are proud of the school, tomorrow the school will be proud of them".
Entering the new school year, President Vo Van Thuong suggested that Gia Lai province should continue to thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on education and training, on innovation, consolidate and develop ethnic boarding schools, semi-boarding schools, schools with semi-boarding students and eliminate illiteracy for people in ethnic minority areas.

President Vo Van Thuong also emphasized that doing a good job in educating and training ethnic minority children has created a good, fundamental, and solid foundation for performing other tasks well. Education is the best way for children in remote areas and ethnic minorities to escape poverty, rise up to take control of their destiny and their lives in the future. "How to build a truly clean, healthy, and safe educational environment so that teachers and students can teach and learn in joy, happiness, and creativity. This must be determined as a fundamental task, creating a basis for performing other tasks well in the future" - the President emphasized.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new school year 2023-2024 of teachers and students of T78 Friendship School in Phuc Tho district, Hanoi, Politburo member, Chairman of the National Assembly, Professor, Doctor, Meritorious Teacher Vuong Dinh Hue wished that every teacher would always "be an example of morality, self-study and creativity". The Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized that teachers are dedicated and responsible people for their profession, "teachers are like parents", loving and teaching wholeheartedly, not only imparting knowledge but also inspiring and motivating students to be passionate about learning and exploring new horizons of knowledge.
The National Assembly Chairman stated that our Party and State always attach special importance to education, considering it a top national policy, always devoting the best to taking care of the education cause, ensuring that all students, whether in the plains or in the mountains, border areas, or islands, can study and have equal access to education. This is the most fundamental foundation to liberate people from poverty and backwardness, to have a prosperous, free, and happy life, and to build a rich and strong country.
The National Assembly Chairman believes that T78 Friendship School will truly be worthy of being the "cradle" for training Lao students studying in Vietnam and training children of Vietnamese ethnic groups, contributing to realizing the ethnic policies in the field of education and educational cooperation of our Party and State, while consolidating and strengthening the unique special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
Pay more attention to policies and regimes for teachers
On the morning of September 5, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha attended the opening ceremony at Doan Thi Diem Secondary School (Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City). At the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister reminded students to always study hard, love their families, share and sympathize with those in difficult circumstances, love beauty and love nature. At the same time, students need to be aware of physical training, exercise and play sports regularly and study foreign languages well to access the treasure trove of knowledge and culture of humanity.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha also hopes that teachers will always strive, cultivate, improve, and be remembered by students as role models with a thirst for learning and dedication to their homeland and country. "Each teacher should light up in generations of Vietnamese students the flame of intelligence, patriotism, love for their people, a sense of responsibility, and the desire to rise up to build and protect the rich and beautiful Fatherland. I request the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the People's Committee of Can Tho City to continue to pay more attention to the regime and policies for the teaching staff; facilities, and learning equipment to effectively implement the new general education program..." - Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized.
On the morning of September 5, in Ngoc Lac district, Thanh Hoa province, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and her delegation attended the opening ceremony of the new school year at Ngoc Lac Ethnic Boarding High School. The Vice President and her delegation presented 20 gratitude houses worth 1 billion VND to 20 families in difficult circumstances in the area; 200 million VND to poor children in Ngoc Lac district and many gifts to the school. Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group, Thanh Hoa branch, also donated 1.5 billion VND to the province's Education Promotion Fund.
At noon of the same day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, along with leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training and leaders of Thanh Hoa province, visited, encouraged and presented gifts to teacher Le Thi Tham, a teacher at Dong Thinh Primary and Secondary School (Dong Thinh commune, Dong Son district, Thanh Hoa province) - an unfortunate young girl who was born without two arms but still strives to rise up in life.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan expressed her emotion at the efforts of this special teacher. According to the Vice President, teacher Tham is a typical example of the tradition of studiousness and the will to overcome fate. "Today (September 5), the day all people send children to school, I am very moved when visiting teacher Tham's family and teacher. Teacher Tham has demonstrated the tradition of studiousness and respect for teachers" - said the Vice President.
In addition to praising Ms. Tham's spirit, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also advised and hoped that teacher Le Thi Tham would continue to promote and impart the best knowledge to students, helping children with unfortunate circumstances have more motivation to excel in their studies...

On the morning of September 5, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia beat the drum to open the new school year 2023-2024 and congratulated teachers and students of Tan Phu Secondary School (Tan Phu commune, Tan Phu Dong district, Tien Giang province).
Party Secretary and Principal of Tan Phu Secondary School, Le Thi My Hang, said that in the 2022-2023 school year, the school has actively innovated modern teaching methods suitable to the characteristics and situations of students in order to comprehensively develop and shape their personalities according to the set educational goals. For many consecutive years, the school has achieved the title of Excellent Labor Collective. In the 2021-2022 school year, the school was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training. In 2023, through the assessment of educational quality, the school met national standards level 1.

On this occasion, Head of the Party Central Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia awarded 50 scholarships to poor students who have overcome difficulties at the school.
