For the first time at the Ha Long Carnival, Vietnam's intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO were recreated and renewed through three artistic chapters: Ha Long Heritage - Brilliant Wonder; Quang Ninh - Heritage within Heritage and Integration with Five Continents - Shining Pioneer.

Sound, light and the enthusiasm of about 1,000 professional and non-professional actors told the historical and cultural stories typical of the Quang Ninh mining region. All of this affirmed the Ha Long Carnaval brand with the aspiration to bring Quang Ninh far and wide, becoming an international cultural, tourism and festival center.

From the very first minute, when the song “Joining Hands” by musician Trinh Cong Son resounded, the entire festival space on the shore of Ha Long Bay seemed to calm down and then burst into emotions of national pride when about 20,000 visitors joined the spirit of the whole country towards the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

My family is very excited and happy. Next year my family will still come to Ha Long Carnival".
