V-League has just ended, HAGL Club has immediately started preparing for the new season. The consecutive friendly matches and tournaments will help HAGL find suitable personnel for V-League 2025-2026.

Training schedule is tight, HAGL has no days off

Specifically, this morning (June 27), HAGL went north to prepare for a friendly match with CRD Libolo Club (Angola) on June 29, at Ninh Binh Stadium. CRD Libolo is the team that just had a 2-1 victory over V-League champion Nam Dinh a few days ago. Therefore, the quality of this team is considered quite good.

After the friendly match with the African team, HAGL will participate in a friendly tournament in Da Nang in mid-July. The tournament will feature 6 teams including Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Hanoi Police Club (CAHN), the Korean Student team and HAGL. Right after the tournament in Da Nang, the team with Technical Director (GDKT) Vu Tien Thanh will go to Thailand for training for about half a month, continuing to play friendly matches with clubs in the land of golden temples.

In addition to competing with many opponents from now until early August, HAGL will also compete through upcoming matches and tournaments, selecting suitable players to supplement the new season (expected to open in August).

Prepare to "renew" the force

The mountain town team said goodbye to many key players after the end of the 2024-2025 V-League, notably including two attacking midfielders Tran Minh Vuong and Chau Ngoc Quang, defender Dung Quang Nho, versatile player Tran Bao Toan and Brazilian striker Washington Brandao.

HAGL needs personnel to replace the above mentioned players. They will search for these personnel through the friendly match with CRD Libolo Club, the training tournament in Da Nang and the training trip in Thailand. In addition, after searching for new personnel, HAGL is likely to build a new playing style, unlike before, because the key factors that made up HAGL's old playing style have now changed clubs.

Overall, HAGL has a fairly large time frame to prepare for the new season. At the same time, they are proactive in planning during the preparation process.
