On the evening of June 27, hundreds of locals stayed up all night to watch the final night together. Every second was thrilling, every handshake was tight, then the joyful cheers seemed to explode after the coronation moment. Hugs and handshakes were overflowing with happiness. Some called, others drove along the slopes to share the good news. Xuan Lanh, a place that is used to peace, suddenly became bustling like a festival.
From early morning on June 28, people called each other to come to the house to congratulate the new beauty queen's family. "Ask for the beauty queen's house? Just go straight past the big tamarind tree and turn left. It's so much fun, everyone is willing to show the way," an old lady said with a gentle smile.
"She is a very good girl, studies well and is polite since she was little. In our hometown, we call her Ba (in order of birth in the family - PV ). Her parents raised her well, and she is also ambitious. According to Linh's father, she dreamed of becoming a beauty queen since she was little. Now she can do it", Ms. Dang Thi Ha (59 years old), a neighbor of Truc Linh's family, emotionally said.
