The official literature exam for this year's high school graduation exam has a reading comprehension section which is prose (excerpt from The River and the Generations of Water by Nguyen Quang Thieu) and a literary essay section which is poetry (an excerpt from The Country by Nguyen Khoa Diem).

Most students prefer reading poetry to prose. However, with this year's literature exam, the reading comprehension text has created excitement for students when doing the test because it is rich in artistic imagery when comparing artistic creation to the flow of a river.

The test is not difficult and most students will likely get above average scores. It is predicted that there will be many scores above 7 in literature this year. Two points for classifying candidates

The exam has 2 clearest points to classify candidates:

One is, in sentences 3 and 4 of the reading comprehension section.

For question 3 (reading comprehension), candidates must answer the effect of expressive form and the effect of clarifying the content and meaning of expression.

In question 4 of the reading comprehension section, candidates need to clearly state what lesson about lifestyle they have learned for themselves, and must explain convincingly to get full marks.

Second, the second part of the literary essay question: "from there, comment on the combination of Nguyen Khoa Diem's ​​emotions and thoughts expressed in the poem".

Overall, the essay is quite good, relatively light, has classification and is suitable for 12th grade students of the final exam season according to the 2006 General Education Program.
