High School Graduation Exam 2025: Many candidates hope the Literature exam will mention technology and AI

In Ho Chi Minh City, candidates entered the first exam with excitement and confidence, hoping to complete their best performance. Also a candidate taking the exam under the new program, Huynh Ngan, a student at Thanh Da High School, Binh Thanh, shared: "Although I have reviewed quite carefully and regularly read current news, I still feel quite worried. This is an important exam so I feel a bit of pressure. Personally, I review current prominent issues such as AI, technology, social networks, the role of young people in the era of national development..."

This time is also a time of nervous waiting for many parents whose children are taking the exam. Every year, on exam days, regardless of the hot weather or heavy rain, parents still arrange their work to pick up and drop off their children. Although the candidates are arranged to take the exam at exam locations near their homes, many parents are still restless, still waiting at the school gate to watch their children. They anxiously follow their children's figures and cannot hide their anxious eyes, hoping that their children will finish the exam.

This year's exam takes place over 3 days (June 25, 26, 27), of which June 25 is the day to complete exam procedures. The total number of candidates registered for the exam is more than 1.1 million, an increase of nearly 100,000 compared to 2024. Of which, 97.7% are candidates registered for the exam under the 2018 General Education Program and 2.29% are candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program. According to a quick report from the Ministry of Education and Training , the total number of candidates coming to complete exam procedures yesterday afternoon, June 25, was: 1,152,336, reaching a rate of 99.16%.
