Ho Chi Minh City artists contribute ideas to the draft political report of the City Party Congress

With professional capacity, enthusiasm and dedication, the city's artists constantly study to improve their professional qualifications, devotedly create and perform to serve the needs of life and society... The awareness and responsibility of the artists are increasingly enhanced; actively study, practice, cultivate moral qualities, improve theoretical and professional qualifications, and meet the requirements of the task.

The Party Committees, authorities and the City Fatherland Front have a clearer understanding of the role and position of artists. Since then, the city has had timely policies to create a favorable environment for artists to contribute and develop.

The conference received many contributions from many artists and writers on the draft political report of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Contributing her opinion at the conference, Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy said that education is very important for the development of a country. Therefore, the draft political report needs to add breakthrough content in the field of education, because this is the core foundation for all sustainable development of society.

According to writer Bich Ngan, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Writers Association, the city needs solutions to develop the city’s literature and arts more professionally and to soon integrate with the world. Writer Bich Ngan said that the work of promoting Vietnamese literary works to other countries is still limited.

In the coming time, the city needs to pay more attention to translated literature, have a methodical strategy in bringing the city's literary works abroad, thereby contributing to promoting the city's literature and art in particular, and our country in general, to international friends.

In addition, many opinions were also given on the layout and presentation of the political report; opinions to clarify the role of literature and art in the development of the city. Many artists also mentioned the supporting and guiding role of the State; archiving and digitization in the field of literature and art; the relationship between science and technology and literature and art...

This shows that artists have invested a lot of time, effort, intelligence and enthusiasm to prepare their opinions responsibly and objectively. The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will direct the editorial team to maximally absorb the opinions of artists.

Regarding opinions related to specific management and direction, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will absorb and concretize them in the upcoming management of literary and artistic activities.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will study and absorb the contents that have not been mentioned or have not been mentioned much in the political report, and present them appropriately in accordance with the role, position, contribution and dedication of literature and art to the development process of Ho Chi Minh City.
