Van Ninh requires synchronous and effective implementation of solutions to prevent and control livestock and poultry diseases.

The People's Committee of Van Ninh district has just directed departments, offices, specialized units and 13 communes and towns to synchronously, drastically and effectively deploy solutions to prevent and control livestock and poultry diseases.

Accordingly, the whole district focuses on effectively implementing the plan on disease prevention and control for livestock and poultry in 2025 in the area. At the same time, mobilize resources to completely handle epidemics, prevent disease outbreaks, limit the occurrence of new epidemics; handle and destroy sick and suspected sick animals; compile records of livestock breeders who suffered losses due to epidemics and send them to the District People's Committee for synthesis in accordance with the provisions of law; promptly detect, prevent and strictly handle cases of buying, selling, transporting sick animals, dumping dead animals that spread diseases and pollute the environment; proactively prevent diseases for livestock, especially vaccination against dangerous infectious diseases for livestock and poultry.

The entire district organizes and implements vaccination for livestock according to plan, ensuring that at least 80% of the total existing livestock are vaccinated; instructs breeders to strengthen the application of disease prevention and hygiene measures for livestock; strictly handles cases of concealing epidemics and slow reporting that lead to the spread of epidemics (if any).
